⁵ I ^(A)remember the days of old;
I ^(B)meditate on all You have done;
I ^(C)muse on the work of Your hands.
⁶ I ^(D)stretch out my hands to You;
My ^(E)soul reaches for You like a weary land. ^[a]Selah.

^7 (F)Answer me quickly, O Yahweh, my ^(G)spirit wastes away;
^(H)Do not hide Your face from me,
Or I will become like ^(I)those who go down to the pit.
